Cuibul Acvilei de munte nr. 2 - The nest of the Golden Eagle 2 (Aquila chrysaetos) 2022

Perechea de Acvile de munte pregatesc cuibul numarul 2 pentru un nou sezon de crestere. Am reusit sa montam camera video cu tot echipamentul la cuibul numarul 2 al Acvilei de munte. Operatiunea a fost mai grea mai solicitanta si periculoasa fata de instalarea de anul trecut la cuibul numarul 1. Perechea de Acvile le-am obervat aducand ramuri la cuib inainte de instalarea camerei video. De maine dimineata daca totul functioneaza bine vom da startul unui nou stream live de la cuibul numarul 2.
Camera si tot echipamentul au fost  cumparate din donatiile urmaritorilor de anul trecut. Va multumesc foarte mult.

The pair of Golden Eagle are preparing nest number 2 for a new growing season. I managed to mount the video camera with all the equipment at nest number 2 of the Golden Eagle. The operation was more difficult and more demanding than last year's installation at nest number 1. I observed the pair of Eagles bringing branches to the nest before installing the video camera. Tomorrow morning, if all goes well, we will start a new live stream from nest number 2.
The camera and all the equipment were bought from the donations of last year's followers. Thank you very much.

19.04.2022 to 12:04:05 Call eagle, Caliman appears with a spruce branch.





12:14:44 Caliman returns with a branch and soon Lucina comes too.

21.04.2022 The male Caliman continues to bring spruce branches as in the previous day. The female Lucina comes and observes the nest and stays in the nest for many minutes.

It seems this year's breeding season will no longer take place, all the egg laying dates are out, it seems the female is not ready to do it with a new partner and she needs a year of a family relationship to be sure Kaliman is ready to be a daddy.

This is very possible. Almost every day, Caliman came with twigs to refresh the nest, but I didn't see any signs of mating.

The pair of Golden Eagles are preparing nest number 2 for a new breeding season from the fall of this year 2022. The video stream was interrupted this summer due to technical problems following the storms. He required technical assistance with the video camera at the eagle's nest. We hope that there will be no more problems of this kind because technical assistance to the eagle's nest is dangerous and expensive. The nest at this moment is refreshed with dry and green branches by the male.

Perechea de Acvile de munte pregatesc cuibul numarul 2 pentru un nou sezon de crestere chiar din toamna acestui an 2022. Streamul sa intrerupt in aceasta vara din cauza unor probleme tehnice in urma furtunilor. A necesitat asistenta tehnica la camera video de la cuib. Speram sa nu mai fie probleme de acest fel deoarece asistenta tehnica in teren chiar sus la cuib este periculoasa si costisitoare. Cuibul in acest moment este reinprospatat cu ramuri uscate si verzi de catre mascul.

24.10.2022 Female Lucina and male Caliman return to the nest.

16.10.2022 La 10 km distanta in linie dreapta de cuib observ 2 exemplare de acvila de munte, unul pare a fi un juvenil chiar poate din acest an si celalalt mai in varsta dar nu cu mult.
10 km away in a straight line from the nest, I notice 2 mountain eagles, one seems to be a juvenile, maybe even from this year and the other older, but not by much.


 
Acesta este un juvenil, posibil sa fie Zenit sau alt juvenil din alta zona.

Acesta este un exemplat putin mai in varsta decat primul ce zbura impreunca nu celalalt. Se observa si la acesta pata alba sub aripa dar pata mult mai mica si neuniforma. Purta ceva in gheare, posibil hrana.
This is a slightly older example than the first one that flew around the other. The white spot under the wing is also visible in this one, but the spot is much smaller and uneven. It was carrying something in its claws, possibly food.
