LIVE Camera nr.1 În premieră pentru Bucovina, proiectul "Bucovina Wildlife Livestreams Project" realizat de Asociația Wild Bucovina (prezentare:    http://wildbucovina.ro/biography/ ), a luat naștere din dorința de a prezenta tuturor iubitorilor de faună sălbatică, imagini live din sălbăticia Bucovinei. Monitorizarea cuibului Acvilei de munte(Aquila chrysaetos) va fi obiectivul streamului.  Intr-un colt ascuns, salbatic, departe de civilizatie perechea de Acvile de munte care este atat de rara isi duce viata linistita crescandu-si puiul. Fiind o zona izolata semnalul internet este de cele mai multe ori slab sau deloc si alimentarea cu energie se face de la panouri solare dar acestea sunt instalate in mijlocul padurii unde nu este lumina solara tot timpul zilei, de aceea este posibil ca vor fi si intreruperi de stream.           For the first time in Bucovina, the "Bucovina Wildlife Livestreams Project" project realized by Wild Bucovina Association (presentation:   http://wildbucovina.ro/biography/ ), was born from the desire to present to all wildlife lovers, live images from the wilderness of Bucovina. Monitoring the eagle's nest (Aquila chrysaetos) will be the focus of the stream. In a hidden and wild corner, outside the pale of civilization, the extremely rare pair of golden eagles raises its child in quietness.
Being an isolated area, the internet signal is often weak or not at all, and the power supply is made of solar panels, but they are installed in the middle of the forest, where there is no sunlight all day, so it is possible that they will be and stream interruptions. Primele noastre observatii la Acvila de munte le avem cu un juvenil in toamna anului 2010. Din informatiile culese am aflat ca aceasta pereche este prezenta de mai multi ani inainte de 2010 in aceasta zona.
We have our first observations with a juvenile in the fall of 2010. From the information gathered we found out that this pair has been present for several years before 2010 in this area.



In toamna anului 2012 filmam pentru prima data familia de Acvile de munte in mai multe zile la rand. Femela a primit numele de "OBCINA ACF12" (Aquila Chrysaetos Femela 2012) iar masculul numele de "RARAU ACM12" (Aquila Chrysaetos Male 2012).

In the fall of 2012, we were filming the Golden Eagles family for the first time in several days in a row. The female received the name "OBCINA ACF12" (Aquila Chrysaetos Femela 2012) and the male the name "RARAU ACM12" (Aquila Chrysaetos Male 2012).




In linkul de mai jos sunt secvente cu puiul si parintii la minutul 7:21, iar la minutul 23:11 apare familia de acvile dar din inaltul cerului pentru cateva secunde mai apare un exemplar de acvila, probabil un juvenil din anul trecut.
In the link below there are sequences with the chick and the parents at minute 7:21, and at minute 23:11 the family of eagles appears but from the top of the sky for a few seconds there is another example of an eagle, probably a juvenile from last year.


In toamna anului 2013 revedem din nou perechea de acvile, OBCINA ACF12 si RARAU ACM12 impreuna cu puiul din acel an.
In the fall of 2013 we see again the pair of eagles, OBCINA ACF12 and RARAU ACM12 together with the chick from that year.



In toamna anului 2014 tot in acea zona unde le-am observat si in anii trecuti, observ perechea de acvile dar fara pui, OBCINA ACF12 si RARAU ACM12

       Cuibul nr.1 al acvilei de munte a fost gasit pentru prima data de catre Asociatia Wild Bucovina in anul 2015. Din anul 2015 pana in anul 2021 am monitorizat aceasta pereche, OBCINA ACF12 si RARAU ACM12. In anul 2015 cand am gasit primul cuib am montat o camera trap pana la plecarea puiului din cuib.
The golden eagle's nest no.1 was first found by the Wild Bucovina Association in 2015. From 2015 to 2021 we monitored this pair, OBCINA ACF12 and RARAU ACM12. In 2015, when I found the first nest, I set up a trap room until the chick left the nest.

Al doilea cuib al aceeasi pereche in anul 2016 "OBCINA ACF12" si "RARAU ACM12" iar puiul "CĂLIMAN ACM16"

In anul 2017 observ perechea OBCINA ACF12 si RARAU ACM12 in zona cuiburilor aducand crengi dar nu a clocit din cauze necunoscute.
In 2017 I notice the pair OBCINA ACF12 and RARAU ACM12 in the nest area bringing branches but it did not hatch for unknown reasons.


In anul 2018 sa intamplat la fel ca in anul 2017, OBCINA ACF12 si RARAU ACM12.
In 2018 it happened the same as in 2017, OBCINA ACF12 and RARAU ACM12.



In anul 2019 nu am observat acvilele de munte nici in zona de cuibarire nici in zona de vanatoare de aceea nu am informatii din acest an. Foarte suspect faptul caci nu le-am vazut deloc in acest an.
In 2019 I did not notice the eagles neither in the nesting area nor in the hunting area, that's why I don't have information from this year. Very suspicious because I haven't seen them at all this year.

In anul 2020 la cuibul nr.2 apare o noua femela in varsta de aproximativ 5 ani ce va clocii cu suces. Ea va primi numele de "LUCINA ACF20" (Aquila Chrysaetos Female 2020) iar masculul este tot "RARĂU ACM12" (Aquila Chrysaetos Mascul 2012). Puiul de va numi "GIUMALĂU ACM20"(Aquila Chrysaetos Mascul 2020)
   
In the year 2020, a new female about 5 years old will appear at the nest no.2, which will hatch successfully. It will be named "LUCINA ACF20" (Aquila Chrysaetos Female 2020) and the male is also "RARAU ACM12" (Aquila Chrysaetos Male 2012). The baby will be called "GIUMALĂU ACM20" (Aquila Chrysaetos Male 2020)

        Revenind la ponta din anul 2021, camera a fost montata la cuibul nr.1 in care am vazut ca este pui. Nu am putut monta inainte de ponta caci nu am stiut sigur in care cuib din cele doua existente va depune ponta si noi avem o singura camera. Montarea camerei si kitul de functionare a fost foarte dificila deoarece zona este in mijlocul salbaticiei, zona accidentata iar urcarea in bradul unde este cuibul a fost dificila.
Pe data de 17.05.2021 am montat camera iar pe 18.05.2021 am dat drumul la stream. De atunci sunt mereu intreruperi de stream din cauza ca panourile solare care sunt umbrite cateva ore din zi de arborii din jur si de aceea nu incarca suficient acumulatorul pentru a avea energie peste noapte pana a doua zi sau in zilele fara soare. Nu exista posibilitate de a modifica pozitia panourilor caci se deranjeaza puiul si parintii de aceea va ramane asa pana la plecarea puiului din cuib.
        Femela LUCINA ACF20 a fost reticienta prima zi vazand camera si panourile dar a venit la pui si sa obisnuit cu camera insa masculul RARAU ACM12 este si acum reticient, a venit la cuib cu prada intr-o zi dar nu a stat deloc si a plecat. De atunci sta doar in jurul cuibului, vaneaza si aduce prada.
        Din prima zi cand am montat camera am vazut ca puiul are o problema la ochiul stang, este mai mic, incetosat, si lacrimeaza. Nu stiu din ce cauza.
        Posibil ca streamul sa se mai intrerupa de aceea va recomand sa va abonati canalului de youtube https://www.youtube.com/user/stelianbodnari/featured unde este streamul sa apasati clopotelul pentru a fi notificat cand incepe streamul nou.

        Returning to the nest from 2021, the camera was mounted to the nest no.1 where I saw that it is a chick. We could not mount before laying an egg because we were not sure in which nest of the two existing ones will lay an egg and we have only one room. Assembling the camera and the operation kit was very difficult because the area is in the middle of the wild, the area was rugged and climbing the tree where the nest is was difficult.
On 17.05.2021 I mounted the camera and on 18.05.2021 I started the stream. Since then there are always power outages because the solar panels are shaded for a few hours a day by the surrounding trees and therefore do not charge enough battery to have power overnight until the next day or on sunny days. There is no possibility to change the position of the panels because the chick is bothered and the parents will therefore remain so until the chick leaves the nest.
The female LUCINA ACF20 was reluctant the first day seeing the camera and the panels but she came to the chickens and got used to the camera but the male RARAU ACM12 is still reluctant, he came to the nest with prey one day but did not stay at all and left. Since then it sits only around the nest, hunts and brings prey.
From the first day I set up the camera I saw that the chicken has a problem with his left eye, is smaller, blurred, and tears. I don't know because of that.

Close view of the most interesting prey item brought in today. An unfortunate least weasel (Mustela nivalis). An easy way to tell them apart from the stoat or short-tailed weasel (Mustela erminea), besides size, is that the least weasel lacks the black tail tip.
